According to The Telegraph, suspended Chelsea team doctors Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn have been asked by the club to return to work.
The duo who were on the receiving end of Mourinho's wrath were expected to have resumed at the club's training ground but while Fearn has since commenced regular duties, Carneiro is yet to be seen anywhere around the club since the day the incident took place on August 8.
Jon Fearn has continued to work during the intervening weeks although he has not, yet, been reinstated to bench duties. It was initially expected that the two would be in place for their next match against Arsenal. It is understood that Carneiro may have acted on legal advice and decided to stay away on Friday despite the club’s request.
The next move is unclear, with the continued expectation among Chelsea staff that Carneiro will not resume her role as first-team doctor and could be preparing a case for constructive dismissal.
However there have also been claims she will return to work soon.
