Two teenagers have been arrested for raping the two-year-old, said
Dependra Pathak, a top officer. The accused, both juveniles were
arrested on Saturday, October 17, through the evidence found in a CCTV
footage in the region. The duo kidnapped the toddler on Friday while she
was playing outside her home, taking advantage of a ten-minute long
power cut which took place around 11.30 pm.
Police had formed 15 teams and questioned more than 250 residents of the
western Delhi neighborhood where the toddler was raped and left
bleeding in a park.
While making the revelation, Dependra Pathak, said the victim is doing
fine and will be discharged from the hospital within 24 hours
