A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the unconditional release of the leader of Indigenous
People of Biafra (IPOB) and the director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice Adeniyi Ademola in his ruling held that the continued detention of Kanu on suspicion of terrorism financing without formal charge is a breach of Section 34(4) of the 1999 Constitution.
He, therefore, ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to unconditionally release him.
