Diego Costa has courted more controversy after appearing to accuse his defence of falling asleep during their Premier League clash with Leicester on Monday.
The Spain international, who has been in trouble for his behaviour both an and off the pitch this season, was caught on camera making a sleeping gesture towards team-mates Kurt Zouma and Branislav Ivanovic shortly after Jamie Vardy had opened the scoring at the King Power Stadium.
Sky Sports presenter Ed Chamberlin brought up the situation during the half-time break, saying: ‘Look at this. Four minutes after Leicester have scored, Diego Costa is telling the defence that they are asleep, or have been asleep. Has he got any right to tell them Jamie?’
