Neymar: Barcelona star unhappy with journalist
Neymar has responded angrily to a journalist’s claim that the Barcelona forward was spotted in Madrid this week.
Manolo Lama, a reporter for Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, reported that Barca star Neymar was in the Spanish capital on Thursday.
The Brazilian has recently been linked with a sensational move to Real Madrid and in the past has been reported to be the subject of interest from Manchester United. The 23-year-old has two and a half years left on his contract at Barcelona, with renewal talks said to be imminent.
Neymar was furious with the Lama’s claim, calling the journalist “a fool”.
On Friday, he posted a video on Snapchat, which carried the caption: “For the journalist that talks s***”.”
The Brazilian said: “Manolo Lama, you said that I was in Madrid yesterday. Start talking the truth, you fool!”
