Kevin De Bruyne is set for around 10 weeks on the sidelines with ankle and knee injuries, meaning he will miss some crucial matches as Manchester City fight on in four competitions.
The Belgian will miss is the League Cup final against Liverpool on February 28, as well as the Champions League last-16 tie against Dynamo Kiev - and potentially the quarter-finals if City qualify - as well as the Manchester derby.
First up is City's trip to Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Saturday. Home Premier League clashes against title challengers Leicester City and Tottenham follow, before a potential FA Cup fifth round clash. Manuel Pellegrini's men then travel to Ukraine to take on Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League last 16.
After the League Cup final the following Sunday he will also miss the league clash against Liverpool at Anfield on March 2, while City will take on Aston Villa at home the following weekend as they continue their title push, then travelling to Norwich City.
The return Champions League leg against Kiev on March 15 and the Manchester derby on March 20 are up next, before the first international fixtures of the year.
City travel to Bournemouth to kick off April and, should they beat Kiev, the Champions League quarter-final first leg is scheduled for a few days later.
Beyond that, the Blues host West Brom on April 9 before a potential European second leg, meaning De Bruyne could return in the clash against his former club Chelsea in the middle of the month.
