Users hoping to access services such as restaurants, travel agents and shopping through Facebook Messenger may soon get exactly what they want.
That’s because Facebook is reportedly going to allow developers to create chatbots that can operate within the social media site’s popular Messenger. Facebook has, reportedly, been working on a development kit that will

open the door for developers.
The Chat SDK in development would allow developers to create bots users can send text messages to directly. The bots, reported Tech Crunch, would automatically respond with information, images, location services, product prices, Buy buttons, and more.
The Chat SDK would also be able to tap into Messenger built-in payments system to let users make purchases via bots, reported Mashable.
The news comes just as Google announced a similar move.
Just last month it was reported a bot will be part of a new messaging service from Google. The company’s bot would allow users to ask questions to their friends with a bot assisting in trying to find a quick answer.
Facebook has made no public statement on the reports.
