More exodus from the architects of Mancheseter United's positive past with Michael Carrick set for summer exit


Long serving Manchester United midfielder Carrick is out of contract in five months' time and is is reportedly ready to listen to offers, with teams from the MLS tracking his progress.

This would come as even more blow to Louis van Gaal who has continued to struggle to put an identity to his Manchester United squad.
Carrick, is in his tenth season with the Red Devils, and with just five months to run of his current deal has the freedom to sign a pre-contract with another club now.

According to The Sun, he is ready to depart Old Trafford as interest from America has increased in the 34-year-old.
It has also been alleged that Premier League clubs are also keen on signing the England international.
Carrick has started just 11 of United's Premier League games this season.
