Nigeria Flamingoes thrash Namibian counterparts in the FIFA Women's U17 World Cup qualifier


The Flamingoes, Nigerian women's Under-17 team, on Saturday thrashed their Namibian counterparts 4-0 at the Abuja National Stadium in what was a 2016 FIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup qualifier.
Two from Rasheedat Ajibade and one apiece from Cynthia Aku and Peace Efih was enough to give the West African side a resounding victory, and a comfortable one to take into the second leg of the tie.
Coach Bala Nkiyu will lead his young ladies to Windhoek in two weeks time for the the second leg.

The main event will be held in Jordan from 30 September to 21 October 2016
