Official: Watford land Penaranda, loan him back to Granada

The Venezuelan teenager, who has reportedly attracted interest from Liverpool and Tottenham, has penned a four-and-a-half year deal but will stay in Spain until 2017
Watford have completed the signing of Granada teenager Adalberto Penaranda and loaned him back to the Spanish club until the end of the 2016-17 season.
The Venezuelan forward had reportedly been attracting interest from the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham after scoring four goals in his first nine games in La Liga.
However, it is Watford who have secured the Penaranda's signature, with the 18-year-old penning a four-and-a-half-year deal at Vicarage Road.

Penaranda became the youngest non-Spanish player to score two goals in one match in the Spanish top flight in December, breaking a record set by Lionel Messi.
Watford also signed Abdoulaye Doucoure from Rennes on transfer deadline day will loan the midfielder to Granada until the end of the current campaign.
