California – Youtube Has Announced That It Will Be Under Construction For 3 Weeks While They Are Doing The Biggest Update In Youtube History.
Youtube stated that this update will have a complete new layout from top to bottom but there will also be a “Old Version” option available to the user.
They also said Youtube videos will load %90 faster then before and there will also be different types of membership options starting from $0.99 – $10,000.
Youtube has not released any info about what the membership features are, besides the $0.99 membership that will remove all ads from youtube videos.
During the 3 week process of the update a count down screen similar to the picture below will show how much time is left till Youtube is back up.
Susan Wojcicki Youtube CEO also stated that,
We apologize for any inconvenience this update may give you but it is definitely %100 worth the wait i promise you that.
